A little about Educate - it is a non-profit that strives to provide education for children, in the form of yearly grants for schooling.
Although we aim to provide education throughout the world, as we expand - currently, we will be focusing on India.
As our operations grow - we will put pictures and more details about the students who recieved the money from EDUCATE, and how they are doing! Stay tuned! |

The reason for this is because India has one of the highest illiteracy rates. According to a UN report, India was ranked 149/180 countries for illiteracy. In addition, India contributes more than 33% to the global illiterate population (as seen in figure 1.) Also, education in India, although expensive for the local children, costs only $10 a month for tuition! This way, India is the best place to start! |
